We spent a week staying at this beautiful villa. SO much good feedback to share it is hard to know where to start. Huge space with 6 spacious rooms and 2 baths upstairs. All of the bedrooms have integrated A/C units which make even the hottest summer night totally bearable. The remainder of the villa stays cool and comfortable. Downstairs has two more bathrooms and full laundry. Kitchen is well equipped. Whole property has retained its original charm and character with modern touches that make it a great place to stay. The Location – The views from the Villa are STUNNING. We never got tired of the view, the sunset directly every evening across the pool and garden, miles and miles of beautiful Tuscan countryside. The pool is immaculately cleaned and maintained. Back patio/table space is beautiful and perfect setting for any meal. The Villa is only 6-7 mins drive direct into the town. The Host – Elena and her family and team are incredible. Attentive, caring, an incredible cook and a wonderful host all round. It was a fabulous family experience.. We have stayed in tens of vacation rentals around the world and this is certainly in our ‘best of the best’ list. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
“Our recent stay at the Villa on the Santo Stefano Vineyard was wonderful! We had a party of 8 staying there for a week and the accommodations were perfect. The photos on VRBO can't capture the views from the private patio and pool area. Sunsets were phenomenal! The best part of this stay was the delightful hostess Elena! When we arrived there was a huge bowl of fruit from their garden on the kitchen table and the fridge was stocked with water, several bottles of wine from the vineyard and cheese. Elena gave us a tour of the villa and then we were given a wine tasting of their wines just steps away. Breakfast can be arranged in advance and it is worth the additional cost. It is an amazing spread with eggs, cheese, juice, croissants, meats, fruit, you name it. The croissants are baked fresh every morning and are the best I've ever had. Elena was so helpful in recommending and helping us make dinner reservations at local restaurants. They were all fabulous! I would also recommend scheduling a cooking class with Elena. She is an amazing chef. Our group took the cooking class and she was wonderful making sure the 2 children in our group were included in the fun. We made tempura zucchini flowers stuffed with sardines for an appetizer, homemade gnocchi with basil and garlic pesto, chicken with the most delicious tomato sauce, and tiramisu for dessert. We ate our delicious meal in the beautiful courtyard watching the sunset and drinking their fabulous wine! In addition to the wonderful Elena, the other staff members were delightful! It's a family operation and we were treated to a tour of the wine cellars and vineyard by Elena's charming niece, Irene. Also, Elena's kitchen and housekeeping staff were so lovely. They did not speak English nor we Italian but somehow we were able to communicate and their warmth was felt! I must also give a nod to the vineyard cats, Billy and Romeo, who entertained my granddaughters the entire stay. My favorite memory from our visit was on our last day as we were carrying out our luggage. We heard "arrivederci!". We looked across the street and one of the kitchen staff had opened her second story window and was waving goodbye to us with the sweetest smile! This is a truly magical place that goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome! Bravo to Elena and all! We will be back!”

This was one of the highlights of our time in Florence. My wife and I took our two adult daughters to Santo Stefano for a tour, wine tasting and a fantastic lunch. Irina and staff were outstanding and really made us free like part of the family. The wine was terrific, so much so we had a bunch shipped back home. We also included a couple bottles of the outstanding olive oil. We highly recommend stopping at the vineyard if you have the opportunity.
My wife and I had booked this tour as part of our 20th anniversary visit across Italy and were both very surprised and pleased by the wonderful and friendly welcome, tour of the family business, fantastic tasting with accompanied antipasti followed by wild boar ragu and pasta lunch.
Irenia and Elania made us feel like family and wish we could have stayed and not be rushed off back to Florence.
Definitely a high point of our trip to Italy!
Irene is a really nice person and the wine tour was absolutely interesting. She speaks in English really well and make all her possible to make people understand everything and feel confortable during the tour;
She is passionate by the vineyards and we can feel this during the stay there
The wine tasting is really good as well as the bruschette served with it.
We came from Belgium to visit it and it was a great time.
