Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is not only tasty but also good for your health, as it is rich in polyphenols, vitamins, tocopherols and antioxidants. Thanks to its strong and fruity flavour, it is fundamental in Tuscan dishes such as “fettunta” (a slice of Tuscan toasted on embers and soaked in fresh oil made from unripe olives). The Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced by cold pressing the Frantoio, Moraiolo and Leccino olives. We have approx. 4,000 plants, spread over 20 hectares of land at 450 meters above sea level. Harvesting takes place exclusively by hand in the month of November. The olives are taken to be pressed in the mill on the exact same day of being picked. The various stages include crushing, kneading and pressing, leading to the cold extraction of the final product: Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
